By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms or conditions. Please note that although every effort is made to photograph our product offerings accurately, we cannot guarantee every computer monitor will accurately depict the actual colour of the merchandise. If in doubt about colours or tones, please contact us with any questions prior to purchasing.Â
REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICYÂ
STUDIO NIKCO offers exchanges or a credit note for all full priced items if returned within 14 days of purchase after receiving your online order. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless the item received is damaged or incorrect.STUDIO NIKCO does not offer refunds for change of mind, we ask that you choose carefully. To return goods, first contact – info@studionikco.com.au
All items are quality controlled and checked for any faults before being dispatched. However, should you receive an item that is faulty or damaged, please contact us immediately by emailing with documented photographs – info@studionikco.com.au
Any return product/s must be in original condition accompanied with the receipt and all original packaging. All rugs must be returned via STUDIO NIKCO’S specialist freight carriers to avoid any damage to the item. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the merchandise does not meet our standards. Goods will be inspected upon return and a credit note or exchange will be issued for the original value of the product — excluding any return shipping costs. STUDIO NIKCO does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to STUDIO NIKCO.
If exchanging for an item of lesser value, a credit note will be issued for the outstanding amount. Credit Notes do not expire. EFTPOS/ Credit card refunds must be processed against the original card details.
Return of the item for exchange or credit note via post or courier will be at the expense of the customer. The cost of return shipping will be taken out of the credit and or new item/s. With any international returns or exchanges, we are unable to refund any taxes or duties paid for customs.
LEAD TIMESÂ
In stock items – ships within 24 hours, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
S. NX turned timber stools – if not in stock can be backorder and may take up to 12 weeks plus delivery depending on timber availability. All lead times will be confirmed upon order placement. For further information, please contact info@studionikco.com.au
Special Order product – Once your order has been received and has progressed into production, our team will advise an estimated completion date by email. Current lead times, can vary through the course of the year with seasonal demands.Â
CHANGING YOUR SPECIAL ORDERÂ
Please contact us within 24 hours if your order requires any changes. Unfortunately changes after this time may not be possible or will incur additional charges.
STORAGEÂ
STUDIO NIKCO at this present time does not offer any means of storage once goods are ready for delivery.Â
CANCELLING YOUR ORDERÂ
Please choose carefully, we do not offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind or make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described or are different to the product purchased on the website.
PRIVACY POLICYÂ Â
STUDIO NIKCO respects your privacy. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with anyone. Studio Nikco does record your IP address at the time of checkout to aid in the prevention and tracking of credit card fraud. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our newsletters if choosing to be on our mailing list and to personalise your shopping experience with us. By using this site and/or our services, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.
PAYMENTÂ
All transactions are processed in Australian dollars. All prices displayed on our website are exclusive of freight unless otherwise specified. Goods remain the property of Studio Nikco until full payment has been received. All balances are to be finalised prior to release of goods. Trade orders on furniture that carry a lead time have the option to pay a 50% deposit (or full payment) with the balance payable once goods are ready to ship. Studio Nikco does not offer lay-by.Â
ORDER CONFIRMATION & SHIPPINGÂ
Flat shipping rate of $15 on all homeware orders under $150 within Australia, free standard shipping on all homeware orders over $150 (excludes delivery cost). Please note this excludes bulky items, furniture and rugs. Bulky items incur additional freight costs of $120 per item which is added to your order during the checkout process.Â
You will receive an automated email confirming your online order. All domestic orders are processed within 24 hours for in-stock items and are shipped out Monday to Friday. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation along with an estimated delivery date. Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). Orders received on weekends and/or holidays will be processed the next business day.
Please note, if you have purchased an item that is currently on pre-order, you may receive two shipments for your order. We will dispatch all in stock items as soon as possible and the pre-order item/s will be dispatched once stock is available.
WEBSITE SECURITY – PAYMENT DETAILSÂ
All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax). All prices shown are accurate to the best our ability. In the rare case an item is listed incorrectly STUDIO NIKCO may reserve the right to refuse the sale and may offer the item again with the correct information.Â
When purchasing from STUDIO NIKCO your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest encryption technology. Please note that all international orders will be processed in Australian dollars and we only accept Visa, Mastercard and EFT.
WARRANTY
A 5-year warranty covers the structural integrity of our solid turned timber S. NX stools when used indoors and 1 year when used outdoors. As timber is a living material, the appearance of its surface evolves naturally over time. Environmental conditions and temperatures exceeding the standard, can affect the appearance of the timber, causing changes such as shrinkage, expansion, splitting, cracking and colour change, which cannot be warranted. The warranty does not cover natural ageing of the timber, non-structural defects in the timber and naturally occurring timber features. The warranty does not cover damage from mishandling, misuse or chemical abuse by not following the proper care and maintenance instructions. The warranty does not cover goods which have been held in storage for any period. This is due to the potential impact of environmental extremities which may be present within certain storage facilities. Studio Nikco’s warranty excludes defects in the finish and timber where items have been left wrapped in non breathable wrapping such as bubble wrap. We recommend unwrapping all timber items upon delivery.Â
As our rugs are handmade we are unable to offer an unconditional warranty. Within a 12 month period from the date of purchase if a rug is defective we will either offer to repair or replace, provided the rug was used for normal residential purposes and maintained in accordance with the care instructions by you. Any improper or negligent use or neglect will not be warranted. The warranty applies to residential use only and not to any commercial, trade or contract use.Â
